In den 1980ern machte ich eine Hochbauzeichnerlehre, ein Bildhauerpraktikum und vertiefte meine persönliche Anwendung der Fotografie an der F+F Schule in Zürich. Ab 1999 bereiste ich wiederholt Asien und Afrika. In dieser Zeit entstanden Dokumentationen in Foto und Film, welche Lebensumstände und elementare Bedürfnisse der Menschen aufzeigen. Fotografie und Film bedeuten für mich kontinuierliches Erkunden, Lernen und Austauschen.

During the 1980ties I made an apprenticeship of architecture draftsman, I was trainee with a sculptor and I developed my personal use of photography at the F+F Art School in Zürich. Following 1999, I repeatedly travelled in Asia and Africa. During that time I made documentations in photo and film showing living conditions and elementary needs of people. Continuos exploration, learning and sharing, is my understanding of photography and film.
